Origin
I have lived in Reno, Nevada my entire life and intend to remain in the area long term. I currently attend the University of Nevada, Reno and am a graduate of Galena High School. I value the strong sense of community and the wide range of recreational and cultural opportunities available in Reno and the surrounding region, which continue to make it an ideal place to live and grow.
Education
I am currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree with a focus on either Finance or Marketing, while actively exploring career paths within both fields to determine the best fit for my long-term goals. In addition, I have a strong interest in psychology, particularly in understanding human behavior and cognitive processes, and I am considering incorporating coursework or an undergraduate degree in this area to complement my primary field of study.
Job
I am working a part time job a Scheels in Gun Customer Service department. Working in this depart involves helping customers find the right firearms, ammunition, and accessories while providing clear, knowledgeable guidance on safe handling and storage. The role requires strict attention to legal regulations and accurate recordkeeping for all sales and inventory. Day-to-day, I balance customer support while maintaining an organized sales floor, resolving issues efficiently, and staying up to date on products and industry trends. It also includes working closely with coworkers and occasionally helping train new staff, all while ensuring a professional, safety-focused environment
Goals
I have established a range of personal, academic, and professional goals that reflect my commitment to continuous growth. In my role at Scheels, I am focused on refining my customer service abilities, strengthening my communication skills, and becoming a more efficient and effective team member. Academically, I aim to improve my approach to coursework by developing stronger analytical skills, better time management, and more disciplined study habits to support my success in college. At home, I strive to take on greater responsibility and contribute more consistently in order to support my family and reduce overall stress. Additionally, I am interested in exploring new hobbies as a way to broaden my skill set, maintain balance, and continue developing both personally and professionally.
